Introduction:

Tourism is the largest industry in Nepal and its largest source of foreign exchange and revenue. Possessing eight of the ten highest mountains in the world, Nepal is a hot spot destination for mountaineers, rock climbers and people seeking adventure. The Hindu and Buddhist heritage of Nepal and its cool weather are also strong attractions.

According to Nepal’s Ministry of Tourism, major tourist activities include wilderness and adventure activities such as mountain biking, bungee jumping, rock climbing and mountain climbing, trekkinghiking,[9] bird watching, flights, paragliding and hot air ballooning over the mountains of Himalaya, exploring the waterways by raft, kayak or canoe and jungle safaris especially in the Terai region.

The major religion in Nepal is Hinduism, and the Pashupatinath Temple, the world’s largest temple of Shiva, located in Kathmandu, attracts many pilgrims and tourists. Other Hindu pilgrimage sites include the temple complex in Swargadwari in the Pyuthan districtJanaki Mandir in Janakpurdham in Mithila region; Lake Gosainkunda near Dhunche; the temples at DevghatManakamana temple in the Gorkha DistrictPathibhara near Phungling; and Mahamrityunjaya Shivasan Nepal in Palpa District where the biggest metallic idol of Lord Shiva is located.

Buddhism is the largest minority religion. The World Heritage site at Lumbini, which is traditionally considered to be the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, is an important pilgrimage site. Another prominent Buddhist site is Swayambhunath, the Monkey Temple, in Kathmandu.

Between October and December is the best time to visit Nepal as the skies are generally clear and the views spectacular. The weather remains dry until about April.

Day 1
Arrival At Raxaul Railway Station To Kathmandu
Arrival at the Railway Station, Meet and welcome by our representative (garland welcome) and transfer to the hotel, non-alcoholic welcome drinks on arrival, check in freshen up and tour program briefing, evening at leisure to explore the tourist market of Thamel, or visit casino etc. O/N at Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast full day sightseeing tour covering Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, Buddhanilkantha etc. Evening free at leisure for self market visit shopping etc O/N at Kathmandu.

Day 3
Kathmandu – Manakamana – Pokhara (200 kms/5-6 hrs)
After breakfast check out and drive to Pokhara. Enroute cable car ride to Manakamana (02 hrs) reach and O/N at Pokhara.

Day 4
Pokhara Sightseeing
After breakfast half day sightseeing including (David’s Fall, Vindhiyavasini Temple, Seti River Gorge, Gupteshwor Mahadev Caves, Museum) evening boating on Fewa Lake and free for shopping etc O/N at Pokhara.

Day 5
Pokhara- Nagarkot
Early morning see the sunrise and excellent view of the Himalayas (Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh and Langtang Himal).After breakfast, drive about 4 hours to the Nagarkot hill station 2200 m height. Check in the hotel. For the refreshment walk around hotel in a fresh air and see the lovely view of sunset from the top of Nagarkot. In the evening have dinner inside hotel. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 6
Pokhara – Chitwan (155 kms/4-5 hrs)
After breakfast check out and drive to Chitwan, reach and check into the hotel, after lunch jungle activities and O/N stay at Chitwan.

Day 7
Chitwan To Birgunj Departure
After breakfast transfer to Birgunj & Check into the hotel. The day will be leisure at you own. Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 8
Breakfast
Chitwan To Birgunj Departure.
