THIMPU – PARO -PHUENTSHOLING
Bhutan Explorer Tour Package
Day 1: Alipurduar – Phuentsholing (Approx. 3 hrs drive)
- Pickup from Alipurduar railway station or hotel.
- Drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan.
- Assistance with immigration and permit formalities.
- Check-in at hotel and rest.
- Evening leisure walk around Phuentsholing town and local market.
Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (Approx. 6 hrs drive)
- After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
- En route enjoy scenic mountain views, waterfalls, and valleys.
- On arrival, check-in at hotel.
- Evening free for leisure or explore Thimphu’s local market.
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing
- Visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point), National Memorial Chorten, and Tashichho Dzong.
- Explore Folk Heritage Museum and Handicraft Emporium.
- Visit Motithang Takin Preserve (National Animal of Bhutan).
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha (Approx. 3 hrs drive)
- After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (10,000 ft) offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.
- Visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens at Dochula.
- In Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses, located at the confluence of Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers.
- Visit the famous Suspension Bridge and Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).
Overnight stay at Punakha.
Day 5: Punakha – Paro (Approx. 4 hrs drive)
- After breakfast, drive to Paro.
- En route visit Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge.
- Check-in at hotel in Paro.
- Visit Rinpung Dzong and National Museum (Ta Dzong).
- Evening leisure walk around Paro town.
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6: Paro Sightseeing
- Excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), one of Bhutan’s most iconic sites.
- Visit Drukgyel Dzong ruins and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
- Evening free for shopping and leisure.
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 7: Paro – Phuentsholing – Alipurduar
- After breakfast, drive back to Phuentsholing.
- Complete exit formalities at the border.
- Continue journey to Alipurduar for drop-off.
Tour ends with happy memories.
